Koo Kien Keat became a National Elite Team player after emerging as the Winner of the Malaysia Satellite in 2003. With determination to be a world-classed player, he partnered Chan Chong Ming (former National Team Player) in clinching several Major titles from Year 2004-2006. His charismatic and humble personality also makes him a popular and respected player among the public and in the badminton arena. His career breakthrough came in 2006 when he had his new partner, Tan Boon Heong, when they claim the Asian Games Gold Medal (a long awaited medal from Men’s doubles after 33 years) and subsequently clinching the Titles in All England and Swiss Open in 2007. Their world ranking also rose steadily and become World No.1 ranking by BWF in 2007. Since then Kien Keat and Boon Heong is among the top 2 men’s doubles players in the whole world.

Her marathon career began at Osaka International Ladies Marathon on January 1997. She got the gold medal in ladies marathon at 2000 Sydney Olympics game and became the first gold medallist of Olympic game among all-time Japanese ladies marathon runners. On October of the same year, Japanese government awarded her People's Honor Award. She won the Berlin-Marathon on September 2001 and broke then world record for the ladies marathon.
She has been belonging to Phiten since June 2005 and the “Team Q” consisting of exclusive staffs has been formed to support her. On November of that 2005, her successful comeback was brought with the victory of Tokyo International Women's Marathon at her first full marathon in those two years. |

He has been playing golf since his 3 years age and became top amateur golfer at Nihon University. His professional golfer license was awarded in 1995. Starting by his first victory in 1998, he has been getting victories and higher ranks in number of tournaments. In 2000, 2004 and 2005, he got the Japan domestic tour's top money winner of the year. He got again the Japan domestic tour’s top money winner in 2006 and it made him the third player in the Japanese men’s golf history for this top money winner award for the third consecutive year. |
