Recently, we have received several emails and even 'customers' who
came with imitation necklaces to Phiten shop and voicing their
complaints or asking for repair. They have either bought from the
Internet (via different various websites) at lower price or even
much lower than Japan selling price or via friends from Japan (not
sure if it is from actual Phiten shop). Their complaints are mainly
on the quality and effects of the imitation products. One fact that
surely disturbed Phiten MY team is that we can't do much as the
'customer' did not get from the proper channel and the users rarely
understand the uniqueness of Phiten vs others.
In this Section, we would like to encourage Phiten lovers or first
time buyer to be aware of the 'traps' and be wise. We are hopeful
that more 'casualties' would step out and allow us to share
something about their experience and their regrets in getting the
products through those improper channel. (Note: Today, they might
sell Genuine... Tomorrow, they might sell and mix with imitation)

" I bought a 3Line sport
necklace for my gf and an X50 limited edition for myself
recently from a popular internet seller in Malaysia as the
seller offer at slightly lower price than Phiten Shops in
Malaysia. It's good to save some money! However, I used the X50
for only 1.5 weeks and find the clip broken. As I felt that it
is after all Phiten products, I went to Phiten Sunway Shop to
lodge a complaint. The staffs are very helpful to see how they
can 'glue' the parts although they knew that the necklace is not
purchased from Phiten shop (as Phiten MY have not launched the
products). However, they also knew that it might be imitation as
the quality of the necklace is inferior. They showed me another
necklace and I can feel the difference immediately. In the end,
I have decided to throw my 'X50 necklace' and got a X30
necklace. At least I can be sure that what I am putting on is
really a Phiten necklace.
I would like to share with all of you that we might think that
we can save money, we might end up spending more. Anyway, a
lesson to learn and I got no regrets. I truly appreciate the
staffs effort in explaining patiently and letting me know the
truth. Keep it up."- Josiah

" It really take me a while to
decide to share this but i hope that this is a warning to
others. I heard from friends that the Phiten necklace is good
for migraine problem and is not something that will cause harm.
I have heart problem and is very selective of products to use. I
wrote email to Phiten and they mentioned that Phiten is not a
stimulator and hence i decide to get one. One of my colleague
linked me to another website and it is selling from OEM
manufacturer. Price is about 30% of Retail price. I bought 1 'phiten'
necklace from that non-official website. When i wore the
necklace, i felt my heart is pumping very fast and very
discomfort. I vomited. I called up Phiten shop and they said
that it is unusual. I went to the OEM website to find that the 'phiten'
necklace is using germanium, magnet etc. I knew that magnet is a
stimulator and I can't use it. I went to check Phiten MY
official website and found that the 'phiten' necklace I bought
is not what genuine Phiten necklace is - Phiten necklace use
only titanium that goes through its unique technology to promote
natural healing.
I bought 1 Phiten necklace and bracelet from Phiten shop. I got
no problem wearing it and I must say that my condition has
improved." |

Experience 3 - Known as Mr Tan
(reported by our Staff Jerry) -
updated 23April
There is a customer who is a
pacesetter members who bought a 'phiten necklace' from a
marathon event booth operated by PowerBar agent at only RM60 (a
few months ago). He was told to purchase as his friend told him
that it is cheap. For curiosity sake, he called up Phiten shop
to find out the actual price (RM145). He start to wonder the big
difference and decided to make a trip to Phiten sunway shop for
verification. Our staff looked at the product and immediately
tried a demo using Mr Tan's 'phiten necklace' and his own
necklace. When Mr Tan was trying the demo, his expressions tell
it all... All he said is " FxxK....X @!% &*^$@......" (for at
least one minute) and claimed that he is actually silly.
Eventually, he bought several products from Phiten shop that
day. |

Experience 4 - Reported by our
Staff Sap (updated 23 April)
A 'customer' came to Phiten
sunway shop trying to find and compare price of the D11 Limited
Edition Darvish Yu X50 necklace. To his dismay, we do not carry
this product. Fortunately, we have the Red Black limited edition
sample and when we compare, the 'customer' agree that it is like
kids toy. The material is finished in very bad quality fabric
and the clip is silver and bigger than original with the string
soft and thicker. We could not identify microtitan ball in the
necklace by inspection. The 'customer' later booked a Limited
edition X50 from us but left disappointed with his 'toy'.
ALP STAND: We really feel sorry for such
'customers' but at the same time, there is nothing we can do as
it is the consumer's choice to get from cheaper channel. We
understand the anxiety of customers to get the newest products
that is not available in Malaysia till later date.
But is it worth to get earlier when it
might not be trustworthy and end up with something 'not
functionable'???
We will try our best to ask Japan for
international availability support and please note that our
price is as such with controlled and advised pricing by Japan. |

Experience 5 -Reported by
our Staff Galtsen (updated 4 May 2009)
There is a customer recently
visited Phiten 1-Utama shop who wore 'X50 necklace'. Upon
inspection, we found out that it is 'fake'. The seam is not
original, the 'microtitan ball' is surely some fake rubber.
Bought from website (www.lelxxx.com) at RM55.

Experience 6 -Reported to
Alp via Email (told disclosure of
identity) - Updated 4 May 2009
A
'customer' has sent us an email recently in End April 2009 on
the following case that he would like to share to avoid others
falling into the same 'trap'.
Customer Case: Customer to be known as 'JJ'
JJ bought a Sport Edition Necklace on a currently very active
internet seller in March at about RM20 lower than PHITEN MY
price. He was happy with the service and the products. He
continue to get another X50 necklace and still happy with it.
When he bought the 3rd X50 necklace, he think that the quality
is not as good and the first one...so he 'secretly' bring it to
Phiten Shop to check and he realised that it is 'FAKE'
JJ Intention:
JJ has wrote us this email to tell us to
share about his experience that we can't really trust the
Internet seller.
ALP STAND:
Just be aware that people get greedy
along the way. When you get genuine, it does not mean that you
will get the same in the next batch. |
